Double concert night at Midgard!

Two bands – one evening!

The bands ÞAU and Valborg Ólafs will perform at Midgard Adventure/Basecamp on Friday, June 5 at 20:00.
An evening where the music takes you on a journey that is both gentle and rocking.

ÞAU is the Icelandic music project of singer and actress Rakel Björk and guitarist/drummer Gaddi. Its music blends rock, indie, jazz and pop with Icelandic poetry, loopers and atmospheric live effects. The duo has released ÞAU taka Vestfirði and ÞAU taka Norðurland, and is now working on its third album, ÞAU taka Suðurland, while touring Iceland this summer!

 Valborg Ólafs is a songwriter from the foothills of Eyjafjöll, writing songs about life and personal experience. Expect a calm, cozy atmosphere, beautiful guitar lines and songs to get lost in. With her band, she creates a warm indie-folk sound with a touch of country.
